My Project

The first day of school makes a big impression on the students. I love it when I am able to provide supplies for the students on the first day. They walk in and see everything on their desk and you can see the excitement in their eyes for this new adventure they are about to begin. Providing the students with the supplies allows the students to all begin on the same starting line. It allows me to get started from day one and not have to wait or wonder if supplies will be brought.

Since I taught many of my fifth graders last year in my 4/5 combo, I want my 4/5 combo this year to be a bit different.

Giving each student new whiteboards, magnet micro cloth erasers, as well, as mechanical pencils will let them see we are ready to rock and roll.
