My Students

I work with a very diverse group of students. They speak twenty-three, different languages and dialects along with every socioeconomic status. This is a group of students in an urban town located next to a University.

As a teacher, I am always looking for ways to motivate them and so creating an more relaxed environment, helps them become self motivating.

My Project

By creating a non traditional setting, the students learn various ways to write. The classroom will become a resilient writing cafe to help the students feel like they are sitting in a coffee house just writing away like mature writers. Allowing students the opportunity to get in their comfort zone, will motivate them to want to write and then share their ideas in a cafe style theme. You don't write in a traditional setting so why should they be forced to sit in a traditional desk. Thanks for your consideration.
