Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are vibrant, imaginative thinkers from diverse backgrounds who thrive when learning is hands-on, creative, and fun. Many are English Language Learners or emerging writers who benefit from visual and tactile prompts to develop language and storytelling skills.
What I love most about my students is their imagination, curiosity, and willingness to express themselves in creative ways, even when they’re still learning how.
Many of my students are English Language Learners or emerging writers who sometimes struggle with traditional writing prompts. But give them something visual, hands-on, and fun, and suddenly, they light up with ideas.
That’s why these POP MART blind box collectible figures are so powerful. Each mystery toy becomes a story waiting to be told. Students will use the figures to create characters, build backstories, explore emotions, and write dialogue. The toys will spark their creativity, support language development, and allow for meaningful social-emotional expression in a safe and engaging way.
Whether we’re writing stories, acting out scenes, or journaling from the perspective of the characters, these resources will make learning exciting, accessible, and deeply personal. Every student will feel like an author and an artist because they’ll see their ideas come to life.
