Our school really benefits from these items as they are not budgeted for and we strive to create engaging events for our kids each year.\r\n\r\nThe work that this website does is so important, especially for students in urban inner city environments. These kids need people like you and we are so grateful for Donorschoose and for all that you contribute. Our class effort to provide for our students is ongoing. We know that without this website, we wouldn't be able to do so much for our kids.\r\n\r\nRight now, we have a few live projects that we are hoping to see come to life. The most important ones are in support of this carnival and are posted by several teachers. Look out for projects for carnival costumes, lemonade stand, and more! We are also hoping to fund a couple projects that support our PBL projects - urban farming, shark tank, sustainable cities, and the great hydrofracking debate are some of our big ones. We will have projects upcoming to support our indoor and outdoor sustainability efforts including some more hydroponic gardens, technology, outdoor classroom equipment, and basic needs for class. Finally, our basic needs and student hygiene and hunger projects will come through for next year. This positive interaction is great for special education students who do not often have that type of nice experience.\r\n\r\nThey are learning stewardship of our corner of the world and bringing more diversity to the city. We are right along the D&R Canal Path and do attract more diverse birds than usually found in the city.
