We are an urban school and do not have garden areas. These beds allow us to plant tomatoes for our school food bank as well as plant flowers around the front of our building to beautify the grounds.\r\n\r\nPutting things together using instructions is a true life skill. They made mistakes and had to correct those mistakes without becoming angry. I wanted to update you on how these resources have impacted my students. The New Classroom Needs, has prepared our classroom with a lot of the things they need this year.\r\n\r\nThe students have been loving the dry erase board eraser, it has made signing in and out of the classroom so much easier! We don't have to waste paper towels or get our sleeves dirty anymore.\r\n\r\nAdditionally, our classroom has looked so much better with the command strips allowing us to hang up all sorts of educational and mental health posters.\r\n\r\nWe have been able to make fun posters too with the sharpies and students received stickers as rewards for their good work.\r\n\r\nThanks to your help supplying these materials, our classroom has been more lively and the students have been more engaged. So, thank you so much for you contribution to our classroom, please keep our classroom in mind for your future donations too. There are still some things this new classroom needs. Our walls are decorated, but we need bins to organize our work and supplies. The Sanitizing Supplies for Students, has allowed my students to be safe and clean during flu season.\r\n\r\nWe are so grateful for the tissues. Prior to this project being funded my students had to go to the bathroom everytime they needed to blow their nose which both interrupted their learning and made this miss important information. Additionally the hand sanitizer allows them to sanitize their hands in the class without walking all the way to the bathroom each time. I wish you guys could see the relief on their face when they asked me if I had hand sanitizer or a tissue and the answer was FINALLY YES!\r\n\r\nThe Lysol wipes and spray have been keeping the germs away and allowed the students and I to sanitize the chairs and desks. We are sure to wipe them down whenever we notice a student was sick. Our classroom has been much cleaner thanks to your help supplying these materials. \r\n\r\nThank you so much for you contribution to our classroom, because of you our door knobs sparkle brighter and our noses stay cleaner.
