My Students
Each day my students come in ready to learn. When it is time for writing, they are particularly excited.
There is something special about our school community.
We are a diverse group of learners and each day, we are growing more and more. As writers our class is most excited about publishing pieces that they have written. Its a wonderful school year with a great group of writers.
My Project
Our classroom is in need of a word processor, pencils, and paper. These materials will help our class go through the writing process. As we write a draft, we are learning to edit and revise our work and once we are finished editing and revising, then we are ready to publish what we have written. Our writers are always eager to edit, revise, and publish their written work.
The word processor would improve writing in our classroom because it allows students a clear place to edit and revise their writing.
Allowing them to type and print their written drafts makes it easier to proceed with their editing and the revising of their work. Pencils are a valued commodity in our room and most helpful in the beginning of the writing process.
