Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Teaching and learning in a shared space can be challenging. There is limited space and resources. As a speech pathologist, I work with students of various abilities. My students rely on information to be presented to them in different ways. Presenting information in different colors engages my students in the different components of our lessons.

My speech and language delayed students will benefit from vocabulary and concepts being posted clearly on the whiteboard to be reviewed throughout instruction.

Writing is a skill that many of my students struggle with. I hope that having them utilize their own white boards and markers will motivate them to want to target and improve their writing skills. Having resources like these will have a huge impact on my lessons and their learning!
