My students need new dry erase boards to use in math. Our current set is several years old, and the dry erase surfaces are peeling off.

My Students

I believe that student engagement is the key to student success, and I try to use many different approaches to keep my students actively involved in learning!

My students this year are extremely inquisitive and eager to learn!

They are always thinking and always on the move. They make every day exciting and rewarding! I am always looking for ways to keep them actively involved in the learning process through activities such as games, songs, plays, projects, experiments, and hands-on experiences.

My Project

In math, we use dry erase boards nearly every day during the whole-group instruction part of our lessons. The use of the boards allows students to actively participate, and it also allows me to see immediately which students are grasping the material and which students need more help. When we move into the small-group portion of math, the students needing more help stay with me, and we continue to use our boards for more practice. The boards are a key learning tool in my classroom!

Our current boards have been used for a number of years, and the dry erase surfaces are peeling off, which limits their effectiveness.

The students have been very understanding about this, and I would love to reward them with a brand new set for the new year!
