This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
This project will impact my class by providing students a place to practice math skills and writing skills.
Students have spent a lot of time writing on their iPads and their stamina for writing has suffered.
I plan on using the white boards, markers, and erasers to help build student writing stamina, writing on the lines and work on proper letter formation. We will also use white boards to quietly share ideas, as a quick assessment tool and to work on math review. White boards are also great for flexible seating in the classroom, since the learners can take the whiteboards with them to any spot in the classroom.
White boards are a great alternative to paper because they can be reused for many years.
