I teach 1st grade, multi-learning level in a mixed demographic school in Oklahoma. This is a very diverse group of students this year.

Students in my room need more motivation and they love to write on the white board at the front of the room, but we only have one so I would love to offer them individual white boards for them to write on at their table.

I need 30 individual white boards and dry erase markers. Each student will be able to write their own answer on their board without embarrassment of being wrong.

I think this will empower the non-risk takers in my room to answer questions that are asked instead of just waiting for someone else to answer first. So many times I hear, "I knew that" but they didn't have the courage to say it out loud in front of everyone.
