This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging lessons to keep their little minds and bodies busy. They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. I learn so much from them each day.

Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, even though they are all unique and have their own learning style.

We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, whole group and small groups where I provide lots of hand-on activities. They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!

My Project

My kindergarten students are busy learning to write letters, numbers and words! Having a class set of dry erase paddles will keep them engaged as they are writing and allows for me to do quick checks of their responses. The dry erase boards provide a chance for the students to practice a variety of skills in math, reading and writing.

These dry erase boards will also give students the opportunity to continue practice during small groups.

They are also great tools for the teacher to model while students are writing on their own boards.
