My students are 21st-century learners. They love using technology in our classroom, and I integrate it as much as possible into all of the subject areas. My students are a bunch of inquisitive learners.
Right now, they all various forms of technology to access at home.
Some have reliable internet, others do not. I am working very hard to provide choices of both online and offline activities for my students to complete to meet their needs and for them to achieve first grade standards
My Project
As we wrapped up the third 9 Weeks I noticed many materials were running out of that would enhance student learning. My table spots have all ripped and dry erase markers have dried up.
I would love to start preparing my students' BEAR books (take-home binders) for next year.
BEAR stands for Bring Everything Always Ready. It's a 1" binder that includes pockets and sections for papers that need to be signed and returned, kept at home, calendars, 1st grade skills, etc.. I create these every year and it helps with organization for my students and all family members. I will need to purchase binders, page protectors, copy paper, ink, and labels to create them.
During our unit on Poetry, it would be wonderful to have various types of markers and pens to illustrate their anthologies. They have worked so hard typing them themselves and now it's time to illustrate.
Other needed items are a new planner, motivational stickers, magnetic numbers, essential oil, packing tape and new privacy partitions.
