My Project

My students are autistic and require significant resources and supports that promote life skills in a safe classroom community. Our classroom will be promoting physical and mental health as well as basic life skills that students can hone to be successful from elementary to high school, and transitioning beyond high school to young adulthood.

Our Life Skills classroom community will strive to meet Life Skills standards that impact how students greet each other, enter and exit rooms, organize materials, wash hands, eat together, and many other social and life skills that they will need to be successful.

This will be my first year at WPC, teaching 3rd and 4th-grade Life Skills. I want to build great relationships with each student, the paras, and adult staff support, and parents.

Thank you for your consideration. Having the most appropriate materials and resources to support student success is a large part of building those relationships and a successful learning community.
