My students need 40 classic primary composition books.

I teach kindergarten in a very low income area. Many of my students live with grandparents, great-grandparents or extended family members.

We are required to teach writing everyday. Since we are required to teach writing everyday, our school told us to put writing paper on our school supply list. However, writing paper is quite expensive and many of my students were unable to purchase this supply. That leaves quite a deficit in our supply and hard to meet school requirements.

I am asking for 40 classic writing composition books. These composition books will allow my students to be able to write and illustrate on a daily basis. It will help to give them ample opportunity writing and help to ensure that they are ready for the demands of first grade. These composition books will also allow them to keep their writings organized and wrinkle free. I know that these composition books will allow them to become the best writers that they can be. Your help will make it possible for my students to be able to express themselves and become even better writers. Maybe one day they too will become a famous author! I can't wait to be able to share with you their fabulous writing!

I believe in all of my students and I feel as though they should be given every opportunity that they can to succeed. My students face many different obstacles each and everyday. I would hate to think that they weren't able to be the best writers that they could be because they couldn't afford the necessary supplies.
