Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

When students have a comfortable learning environment they will produce quality work and will focus better in class. There is data that shows this to be true. The first and foremost is to give all students a chance to learn in a good environment in class without sensory overload. Well I would like to provide a comfortable learning environment for my students so they will continue to learn and preform well on their class assignments and state examines. It isn't even summer yet, our school and my classroom feel like a HOT SAUNA at a spa.

The portable air conditional unit will help cool the room for the students, and the refrigerator will help me to provide Good Cold water for our students as they transition to other classrooms that don't have cool learning environments.

I know these items will help our students during these last month and days of school to concentrate on their lessons, and also help me to deliver the best teaching an always offer to my students. I love when my students excel at what they are learning.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. The items added to the classroom will play many roles in the program for the students. My students will be noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are given a cool and engaging environment to learn and work.
