Along with YouTube videos detailing how sound travels with no cords attached, your funding of the bluetooth speaker, students were able to learn how the speaker produce sound, and how that sound is carried to their ears, which is then processed buy the brain. Your donation allowed my students to use their senses to solidified their understanding. They were able to touch, feel, see, dissect and assemble positive and negative wires, discover how the sound board uses electricity from the battery to carry information to the speaker. They were able to see inside each speaker cone, learn about he the different parts of the speaker, the copper spiral, the magnets, the waves of the spider, dust cover, the pump that pushes the sound through the air between them and their ear. The news of what we were doing in our music class carried and other students wanted to experience this Musical STEM Project. My students were so happy to be able to design their speaker and take it home and allow their parents to learn about their new skill. This speaker will also allow my students to listen and evaluate musical lessons at home. I am so thankful for your generosity to my students. This project was so effective, that many of my students were influenced to pursue a career in Engineering and Science. \r\nI thank you for all that you have done to influence my students and hope that you will see value in funding another of my projects: which is using (Lapel mics for a Musical, as well as teaching my students about sound production and balancing sound.
