As my students transition back into school under a new hybrid schedule. I want them to feel welcomed and safe. While Covid-19 still a major concern, having a clean sanitized classroom environment will reassure students of their safety which will help them to be more focused, engaging, and ready for teaching and learning. Having these thermometers, cleaning supplies and materials on hand when needed will indeed relieve some coronavirus concerns within my classroom. However, there may be some anxiety transitioning from virtual to the new hybrid schedule. Therefore, having an "open mind" will allow my US History students to be more confident and effective with this new way of teaching and learning.
