Help me give my students , Pretty GIRL Pantry, a place where our girls can access personal hygiene products to help meet their personal needs while in a school setting.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Our students are TRUE SCHOLARS and PERFORMERS. They are creators, thinkers, visionaries, musicians, artists, dancers, and are very in tune with the role they play in this academic environment. They are dream chasers and role models.
My students are proud members of one of the BEST school in our county.
They strive to do and be their best every day.
Our values are based centered around teamwork, perseverance, judgment, creativity and integrity. They strive to emulate those values on a daily basis.
My students live and breathe the concept of FAMILY as many of my students have been growing and learning together since kindergarten.
My Project
Every girl deserves to feel confident, beautiful, safe, and free from judgment while at school. I would like to start a PRETTY GIRL PANTRY at my school where young ladies can visit to gather necessary items that may be needed to keep good personal hygiene during their personal time each month.
Confidence is contagious.
Feminine hygiene products should be free and accessible to all young ladies in an educational setting. Every girl deserves to live her life worry free.
With the pantry in place, my students will miss less instructional time by having their immediate needs met. Visits to the pantry will be as needed and can help young ladies transition back to the classroom refreshed and without interruption.
Help my girls feel, Worry FREE, while in school by helping to stockpile our pantry with tampons, pads, wipes, and deodorant.
