Help me give my students a real world hands on project where they can learn how worms recycle food waste and improve soil quality.

My Project
Worms! Poop! Now that I have your attention, please help me teach my Environmental Science and Biology students this Fall about how worms, how worms improve soil quality and how they can help us to recycle food waste that otherwise would be going to landfills. Worm Composting or Vermiculture is an easy simple way to compost, and students are automatically engage in learning when they watch worms eat their lunch leftovers. This project will also teach students about humane care of living things, the biogeochemical cycles and increase their understanding about how each of us can make small changes to improve how we interact with our planet.
