Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are active and engaged 8 and 9 year olds. The community that they are raised in tends to be a lower income area. Students come to school eager to learn. The atmosphere within my classroom is very upbeat and I am always trying to incorporate new techniques to help my young learners.
The students in my class are energetic and always love learning by doing hands-on activities.
Distance learning has sent some new challenges our way, but we are looking to overcome those obstacles.
My Project
I am wanting to purchase more social studies items from some of the best TPT authors that I know. They produce quality materials for students of all ages. I want my students to be able to understand more of the world around them and how the world works.
I am wanting to purchase materials from teachers who have made quiet an impact not only in the teaching world, but the community as well.
I am wanting to expand what I am teaching about in the world of social studies and I am hoping that with your donation of gift cards that we can make this happen.
