Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For many of our students, physical activity is the highlight of their school day. It gives them a chance to move, build friendships, and develop important social skills. Our students love playing soccer, but we currently do not have enough equipment to allow everyone to participate safely and successfully.

This project will provide portable pop-up soccer goals and durable soccer balls so students can enjoy organized games.

Soccer encourages teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and physical activity while giving students a fun and positive outlet to recharge before returning to the classroom ready to learn.

As a Title I campus, many of our students have limited access to organized sports or recreational equipment outside of school. By providing these simple resources, we can create more opportunities for all students to stay active, build confidence, and develop healthy habits that will benefit them both inside and outside the classroom.

With your support, recess can become a place where every child feels included, stays active, and experiences the joy of playing together. Thank you for helping us make a lasting impact on our students’ well-being!
