My Project

Our students are learning about the continents. Currently, we are learning about Asia. To go along with this unit, our elective is making crafts from different countries.

Our students will learn about different countries through their arts and crafts.

We will make Batik, which is an art form from Asia using wax (we'll substitute that with glue), canvas and paint. We will also make Mandala rocks, jester hats, salt art and much more with these supplies.

Through these lessons, our students will use their creativity and imagination, coping skills when things don't go just right, learn to work with a group and collaborate.
