My Students

My students are the future leaders you will want to get to know! They are intelligent, kind, resourceful and determined.

They come from a district that is comprised of very low social economic status.

In some cases, they are the product of generational poverty.

Our school is the hub of their small town and focal point of their community. My students count on our school to provide a safe place that is predictable and nurturing. Some times, this is the only order they will find in their chaotic lives. It is a huge responsibility that I do not take lightly. They give us all they've got and I happily do the same!

My Project

These are unique times where out-of-the-box thinking will prevail. I am part of quick-thinking progressive district that has a great plan! We are able to get technology and work materials to all students. As of April 1st, we will be educating remotely. This will be a challenge to many of our students who live in less than ideal homes for classroom learning. I would like to give my student's a "place" to learn, in what ever situation they experience. Please help me in giving them a compact work station so that they may continue their education and stay connected to their learning community. The desks are made to use while sitting on the floor. It will give the students a place to do their work when space is limited. Students need a place to focus on their schoolwork. These work desks enable a student to turn any spare area into a desk. My students have worked very hard to make the educational gains they have made this year. Please consider giving them every advantage I can to further their education.
