My Students

My students are very hard-working individuals who know what they want out of life and for the bulk of them that is two things. They want an education and to succeed. Unfortunately, because of where they live resources can be hard to come by which may cause them to not have what they need at times. I believe that when speaking of quality education and the supplies to maintain it, no child should be shorted or left without. I know that if they were afforded the appropriate materials they can be the model students who produce quality work within their classrooms and in their community.

What I love about my students are their perseverance and their gratitude.

My students face so much adversity besides being high school students, yet I never hear them complain. I also love how much students share what little they do have with each other when they can.

My Project

In my class, I have some dedicated students that look forward to going to school every day. My students are obliged to read novels, evaluate texts, analyze poetry, and participate in literature circles in English III. We have administrators and personnel visit our classroom frequently, and we like to show them what we are working on in class.

My students are very artistic and like to display what they are working on.

These tools will provide my students with a class set of writing supplies as well as post-it notes for displaying their work. I also want my students to practice taking effective notes, and the color pens will motivate them to do so. They will be able to work in groups to design signs and posters that reflect the learning they are getting in the classroom using the materials provided.
