My Students

My school is located in a rural county that is in desperate need of new furniture for our students. The desks currently being used in my classroom are in poor condition. The screws in the desk legs fall out on a daily basis which causes the desks to fall over while the students are working. Not only do they cause a distraction when they fall, but we have to put them back together each time they fall apart. Some students have had these desks fall on them or their feet with injuries.

These tables will help my students work in a more collaborative, creative, and safer learning environment.

My Project

Imagine working in groups when all four desks are uneven and wobbly. Your group needs a flat surface to work on and a place to take notes too.

Now, envision a flat working surface that is stable and that your group can plan, build, and take notes all in one place and on one surface.

These tables will help my students collaboration and team building in the classroom. I feel with these new tables, many projects can be successfully planned and students will have the ease of talking with one another and a smooth surface to take their notes and erase with ease.
