Work Internship Independence Items

Help me give my students some items to help them prepare for work internships throughout the school day!

My Project

Our students are an incredible group of individuals with special needs, ages 18-22, who are practicing independence and vocational skills. The students have job internships throughout the community and take public transportation with staff from school to their job sites 3 days a week! The students are such hard workers and extremely proud of their jobs in the community and working to make a difference!

The items requested are items that would help facilitate independence and our students, who are diverse learners, will need for their work internships (reusable water bottles, lunch boxes, etc), a skill they will practice with the hope of solidifying for a foundational future skill.

The students have requested these items to replace brown bag lunches and/or plastic water bottles in an effort for sustainability, as well as to be able to own and take with them after they graduate and hopefully gain part-time employment themselves!

The items will be sold in our school store - where students use "school bucks", to practice the life skill of monetary exchanges. Thank you for your consideration in donating to this project, we greatly appreciate it and it will go a long way!
