My Students

Who taught you how to study? For many of my students, they are learning how to study in the 10th grade.

I teach 40 10th-12th graders at a large neighborhood zoned high-school in Maryland.

Most of my students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds. I teach bright and motivated students who in many instances have not received the things necessary to guarantee an excellent education.

My Project

My students are ready to study, but we lack the time and money to prepare them with flashcards. These flashcards allow them to study for the AP Government exam anywhere: the bus stop, in between classes, and at home. Since most of my students came into our class around a 6th grade social studies level, these flashcards will give them what they need to boost their social studies skills.

I firmly believe that if my students have these flashcards, their confidence and knowledge levels will increase.

They are ready to work hard, they just need YOU to help them study smart.
