Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Some things I love about the students are they are hard workers from Kindergarten all the way through 4th grade. They push themselves and try hard every day. But one thing I have noticed are the ones that are coming to school without a snack for the end of the day. The classroom I am in, I help with the ones that are having trouble one day listening, or need to take a test in a quiet spot. I run a little store called the “Tiger Store”. That is where students earn a “tiger buck” for being responsible, respectful, or staying on task that day. Well if a student doesn’t have a snack, I have a stand with snacks on it where they can purchase something for 3 tiger bucks. I would absolutely love to keep this going for the kids.
