Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Work Hard, Get Smart! That is a mantra that our kids chant every Monday at our morning assemblies. We also chant it every morning in our classroom as we gear up our day for learning.
I am requesting a few fun items that will enhance our classroom store and encourage students to continue to strive to do their very best work.
Items such as fun erasers, stickers, and smelly pencils will be used for kids to buy with their hard-earned Dojo points for work well done and great skills in showing leadership. Additionally, they will be used to reward students in accomplishing their weekly goals. I plan to use the trophies to have kids place on their desks that have earned the top scoring spot each week in each of the computer programs that we use: Raz-Kids, Accelerated Reader, i-Ready, Read Live, Achieve3000, and Imagine Learning. The treasure chests will be used to place prizes in for our store.
I am requesting computer ink to refill the ink cartridges for our printer to print rewards for the students and colorful useful learning resources such as visuals for our multilingual learners.
