I am requesting two iPads so that one iPad is available for every two students. Those students will work collaboratively to tackle learning Common Core standards using our 21st century skills! The additional hardware will ensure that our students are able to partner on one tablet and assist each other as we create Powerpoints, record themselves reading their writing to practice fluency and public speaking confidence, practice their reading skills, and work on their math skills. A 2:1 ratio of technology will create an opportunity to having technology at their fingertips and will provide an endless number of possibilities that excites the students to be creative, think outside of the box, and really motivate them to bring learning to life.
