My Project

For this project, I am seeking funds to supply my Art Survey classes with high quality bristol paper and a variety of colorful cardstock paper for our Words of Wisdom project.

Each semester students in my Art Survey classes create Words of Wisdom, encouragement, affirmations, and advice for themselves and their peers to be displayed in class for students to see and appreciate each time they enter the classroom.

Students will draw on the bristol paper to create stylized words that represent their chosen message. The cardstock will be used to create borders and other visuals to accompany their message. At the end of the project, these stylized, colorful Words of Wisdom will decorate the mirrors at the front of the classroom so students can see their reflection surrounded by these messages of encouragement.
