My Students

Students in my school are able to apply their developing knowledge of mathematics and science using technology. We use hands-on materials and learning through experiences and challenges.

Over 95% qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, but students still respond to our enthusiastic, caring teachers and staff.

Students are expected to work hard and maintain a consistent effort. They are highly motivated and enjoy challenging themselves. They work well in collaboration with their peers and are always creative in their solutions.

My Project

My STEM classroom is a place for students to challenge each other, collaborate, create, and engage with new technologies and multiple learning styles. The integration of STEM into schools is growing around the country. The space in my school allows students to carry out projects, collaborate, explore, explain, and develop their creativity. All while discovering new technologies such as robotics, 3D printing or computer programming and coding along with art integration.

Students will benefit from having the ability to turn digital prints and drawings into permanent pieces of artwork using the technology from the wood burning kits.

They will learn how to prepare the wood properly and use all safety measures to complete their work and produce a finished product.
