My Project
Our biology classroom has quite a few dated microscopes. My students love looking at cells under the microscopes but struggle with them while trying to focus the slides to get a clear picture with their phones.
Students will be able to use this advanced compound trinocular lab microscope to practice their microscopy skills.
The third lens of the trinocular is attached through a camera to a laptop. The laptop screen allows a clear view of what students are seeing through their eyes. This allows me to teach students the proper techniques for using a microscope.
Students will also be able to record their microscope images and videos through the attached digital camera and save them to the computer.
