My Project
Today I had a teacher give me a list of books representing women in history. Out of my collection, I had 6 of them. When I reached out to her I was a little disappointed with the collection I had in the library. So here we are.
I need to build the library collection representing Women in History.
My goal is to add close to 50 books to the school library that almost 400 students will have access to. Other librarians in our district would also ave access to share these books with their students.
My students love to read. Each of these books represented in this project also have a bookmark that goes with them. Students will receive a bookmark once they read the books.
From musicians, to scientists, to althetes, these books represent many women that have made an impact in the world. I want to share with students their stories and hopefully light a spark to show them that hard work eventually will pay off.
