These books will be shared with K-3 students as a read a loud in the library. Sometimes students get "stuck" in their own environment and are not given the tools to explore their surroundings and their emotions. I want to open their minds to what is out there and make them believe that they can do anything if they put their mind to it and work hard. Students love picking up series of books especially after I have already read the first book to them. Most of the books chosen are from a series that will encourage readers to continue exploring.
