Women Scientists: Inspiring Today's Students

My Project

I love that all of my students, both boys and girls are excited about learning, especially in the area of science. Each year we do a scientific research project and my students get to choose a scientist to research. My girls are always looking for female scientists but our resources are limited.

Women scientists are just as important as male scientists and this project will give my girls more books about women scientists.

These biographies will give them access to more information about female scientists that have changed the world. In addition to the biographies about female scientists, my students will also be able to work on their engineering collaborative skills through building projects with Keva planks. Keva planks are just one resource to help promote engineering and communication skills for all my students, both girls and boys.
