Excitement grew when they were able to check out Minecraft graphic novels and The Dork Diaries. My girls were also very excited to see the new Babysitter Club Graphic novels. Independent reading time has never been quieter. In addition to graphic novels, I was able to restock my Judy Moody and Stink Collections, making it easier for my struggling readers to find something they can read without a lot of help. Building and keeping students reading throughout their school years is a goal of mine and your donations have helped me meet that goal. Many of the books will be used during our social emotional learning and morning meeting. I am Courage, I am Love and I am Compassion as well as a few other books will help students learn these skills.\r\n\r\nAnother set of books that was purchased deals with being angry and how to solve problems. These books will also be used during morning meeting.\r\n\r\nThe final group of books includes books to use during science as well as books to celebrate various holidays and events throughout the year.
