Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our pride does not stop with the school but extends out to the students. We often refer to our students as our children because they mean that much to us. Technology and science go hand in hand! Our school promotes the use of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics by hosting an underwater robotics club.

Our Underwater robotics club is utilized to help design, manufacture, and test underwater robotics.

As the middle school that feeds directly to our STEM HS we promote and foster science, technology, engineering, and mathematics opportunities. Corpus Christi offers a wide array of careers in this field for mechanical, electrical, and manufacture engineering. Items such as the soldering kits and tubing would be used to students to CREATE their own underwater robots will assist out students on this endeavor! We will utilize the tools to create our robot and compete with others throughout the state. Our robotics engineers must use critical thinking and problem solving to identify problems and solutions when working with robotics.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
