Wobbly Math Tables

Help me give my students seating that allows for movement and tables that allow for student work. Math worksheets are frustrating to squeeze the numbers into a small box. With these tables, they can write big!

My Students

I'm a high school special education teacher of 16 years. My students range in disability from Specific Learning to Autism. I'm most concerned about my students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Some of my kids struggle socially and emotionally with learning and often the environment challenges them.

My Project

Students with special needs often struggle with pencil and paper and sitting still. This project will allow students to work out math problems, and academics on the desk where they can write big.

I have folding tables in my room, but they are 20 years old and falling apart.

I'd like to upgrade to a surface that helps kids.

These tables will also help kids with social-emotional processing as they can draw and doodle on the table with colored whiteboard markers, which I already have. I also have other specialized furniture to complete the set.
