Wobbling Away Our Wiggles

My students need wobble stools to help them stay focused. Being able to move while working will help them stay on task.

My Students

I have a classroom of 24 energetic first graders. We are very busy learning how to become good readers, add and subtract. We are learning how to write stories and add details.

We have worked hard to make our class feel like a family.

It is exciting to see how much they enjoy being at school. They like working together and sharing with each other.

Coming to school everyday is a lot of fun! Who wouldn't want to join us!

My Project

I try to provide an environment that allows a lot of movement, but when you are six or seven it is sometimes hard to sit still. Some students like to lean back or tip in their chairs. This will also help with this problem.

My students need to wobble stools to get their wiggles out.

This will help them stay on task and be better listeners, so they can complete their activities. We have a lot to learn in first grade!

The wobble stools will help students move and give them the opportunity to learn in a way that fits their needs best.
