Wobble, Wobble for the Win!

Help me give my students wobble stools for those students who need to get their wiggles out!

My Project

I know these wobble stools may seem like they are not needed, but research states that kinetic motions while learning have been shown to increase focus and concept retention for all learners. Students can wobble back and forth as they work through their tasks. This is particularly important for neurodivergent students of which our classrooms currently have an above-average number enrolled. For students with ADHD, the energy spent focusing on "sitting still" during learning can actually be a block to productivity.

I am requesting three wobble stools to help my students who need movement to focus on the task at hand.

By allowing this gentle release of rocking on a stool the students are more receptive to and engaged in learning. To our future donors, we thank you for supporting our classroom!
