Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I work with kindergarten students in a Title I school. The majority of my class is on free or reduced lunch. It is a small school with about 550 students. The kindergarten students attend full day kindergarten.
I love teaching kindergarten because the kids are so eager to learn.
They are like little sponges, soaking up all the information.
My classroom is very diverse. If you were to walk in my classroom, you would see students busy at work.
My Project
I have already received 4 Wobble chairs through donorschoose and I love them! I can already tell a difference in the students' focus on their work. I am working on building a classroom set of wobble chairs.

These 4 wobble stools will provide the students with an outlet for restlessness and extra energy. With the demands on kindergartners being so rigorous, with only 10 minutes of recess a day, they need movement throughout the day.
