This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach an amazing group of energetic 4th graders that come ready to give their all every day. They love to learn and their enthusiasm is contagious.

I want to provide them with more options for flexible seating.

Research shows that choice and movement are important factors for engagement, and these wobble stools would be providing seating choices and the opportunity to have some core stability movement while learning. They have shared that they truly enjoy these stools as a flexible seating option and I want to provide enough stools to have enough options for all students.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
