My Students

Our school is part of a small community that comes together to support one another. One third of our students are military connected, and our school works very hard to maintain positive connections with these families for the duration of their stay. These connections are extremely important, as they ease the hardships our families face each and every day.

My students are curious, eager to learn, lovable little humans who enjoy coming to school every day!

My student and I work hard to create a classroom community where they feel safe, welcomed, and valued as a learner.

My Project

I am requesting two wobble stools. Sitting still is not natural for children and now it doesn't have to be. These stools will allow be students to be active while sitting at the same time. The stools are unique as they transform sitting into an activity. The children are moving, even when they seem to be sitting still. The convex base allows for movement in all directions, which is critical to student development as physical movement both increases well-being and encourages the physical and intellectual maturing process. These stools will help my children stay active like they want to, while also being able to focus on their work.
