The students I serve come from all different economic backgrounds and all different walks of life. We are a Title I school with over half of our students receiving free or reduced lunches.
Despite where they come from, my students come to school, every day, excited and ready to take on the day!
My students are amazing, and their excitement and love for learning inspire me.
They deserve the absolute best. I want to be able to provide them with a safe learning environment that will foster fun, collaboration, independence, ownership, and growth.
My Project
My students need wobble stools to enhance their focus, attention, and learning. It is very hard for 6 and 7 year olds to sit still in chairs throughout the day in the classroom. In my years of teaching I have observed students flip over there chairs, lean back in their chairs, and push them all around because they are not able to sit still.
Wobble stools will allow my students to actively move while they are learning!
Wobble stools will provide a safe way for students to actively move while they are learning. I want to meet my students where they are and provide them with options that will help them increase their focus and learning.
