Ms. Anderson from Adelanto CA is requesting flexible seating through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
My students need various Wobble chairs for flexible seating when they are in reading, math, art, and various centers while collaborating with each other.

Oooh, energetic fabulous first graders love interacting with each other. I love my students! They are a joy to teach. Many of my students come from single family households, foster care, and others who live with their family members. All of my students receive one hundred percent free lunch. I have several students who are English Language Learners (ELL), special needs, and some who have speech impediments. My students have creative distinct abilities whether they are visual, mathematical, or kinesthetic learners in which they are always looking for better ways to enhance and increase their attention to details while they are engaged in group work.
We are a Title I school located in Southern California surrounded by several correctional facilities and one federal prison.
Your generous donation to our project will help to assist my first graders ability to receive comfortable chairs. It is difficult for little children to remain sitting still for long periods of time on hard stationary chairs. I am requesting some Wobble and inflatable ball chairs for my fabulous students.
All of my students want to learn to read, write, do math, science, and art centers, but some students fidget and struggle to remain focus due to their ADHD diagnosis.
It is a safety hazard when they are rocking their four legged chairs back and forth in the classroom. They need to be able to sit comfortably on chairs so that they can wiggle and fidget without constantly falling off of their chairs. It is distracting because they tend to lose their focus and concentration while they are trying to complete their assignments. These Wobble and inflatable ball chairs will help reduce interruptions and increase academic and hands-on activities. They will boost positive interactions among each other while they are collaborating in various centers.
Using these ball chairs will enable my students to control their upper torso portion of their body and help them sit without slouching. We have a few chairs already and they really enjoy using them.
