This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are the best part of my day, every single day. They are eager to get to school each and every day, and have told me they don't want the weekend, because they love to be at school. My students are bright souls that bring me endless joy.

I am constantly inspired by their determination to not let hardships of the outside world effect their learning.

These students need the supplies in their classroom to continue their learning. I strive to be their support, their role model, their friend, and their coach every day. They make me a better human, and I want to teach them to be better humans, too.

My Project

Wobble stools would be incredibly beneficial in my classroom, and having a pencil sharpener in the classroom would reduce time wasted using manual sharpeners or going on wild goose chases for sharp pencils. I do not have a pencil sharpener in the classroom, and having this sharpener in my room would make for more efficient learning days!

Wobble stools would help my students maintain focus while keeping their bodies busy.

These wobble stools would be perfect for my small group table, to help students not have to worry about losing their focus because of their need to move around. I have seen such improvements with other flexible seating, and would like to continue to expand on it.
