My Project

Greetings to our amazing community of supporters! Our school is passionate about fostering social and emotional learning (SEL) in our students. We believe that a strong foundation in SEL is crucial for their overall well-being and academic success. Our students are a diverse group of individuals, each bringing their unique strengths and challenges. What makes them special is their resilience, creativity, and the sense of community they've built within our school. We see every day how they support one another and navigate the journey of growing up.

Our primary goal is to enhance our students' SEL skills through engaging activities and resources.

We aim to create an environment where they feel understood, supported, and connected. We will utilize SEL books to facilitate discussions and activities that enhance emotional literacy among our students. In addition, we will introduce rhythm sticks to encourage teamwork, coordination, and a sense of rhythm, promoting emotional regulation and social cohesion. By incorporating building blocks into our curriculum, we will encourage creativity, problem-solving, and collaborative learning experiences. Lastly, we will introduce emotion identification plushies to help students express and understand their emotions in a safe and supportive environment.

Your generous contribution will directly impact our students' learning experiences by providing them with tools and resources that foster SEL. The SEL books will serve as a foundation for discussions, the rhythm sticks will promote coordination and teamwork, the blocks will spark creativity, and the emotion identification plushies will aid in emotional expression and understanding.
