My Students

Having students of the information age, I find it difficult to prepare students to use technology when not all students are equipped with the right tools.

I teach an energetic group of second grade students who love technology!

They attend a small rural school in a farming community. Some students do not have the Internet at home and look forward to listening to online stories at school. Headphones and a keyboard would allow the kids to listen to reading and use a keyboard for our iPad.

My Project

We need twenty headphones and a keyboard to engage students in their learning! With headphones, the students will be able to listen to engaging stories online, such as Tumble Books and Raz-Kids. The keyboard will make access to the Internet a lot easier.

With your help, the second grade students will become equipped with the tools of the 21st century.

Technology is a tool that makes learning exciting. Thank you for touching many lives!
