My Students

Let me tell you a little bit about myself and my babies! (they get a kick out of that!) I teach a 3rd grade inclusion room, meaning currently 8 of my children have IEPs and require additional academic support.

While things may take a little longer, watching them finally grasp a topic makes it all worth it.

I know that every child in my room can and will show growth and I am excited to work with you to give my students opportunities to become successful students and citizens.

My Project

Many students in my district struggle financially and do not have access to basic school supplies. I want to provide my students with these basic supplies so that they have the ability to receive the same opportunities that students do in more financially stable districts. My students want to succeed and when I say to get out your paper and pencil, I see the look in their eyes when they do not have the necessary supplies. I never want my students to feel less of themselves because their families struggle financially. To me, each student deserves access to the basic school supplies.
