My Project

I am a 1st grade teacher, in an International Baccalaureate school. In my classroom we participate in a lot of research projects. My students love creating and printing their work. They often ask why it's just in black and white and not color. We currently have limited access to a working printer.

A color printer will help me brighten up my classroom with color and make the posters more visually appealing to my students.

It will also allow me to print bigger images than the standard 8.5x11 sheet. I have been creating the posters and printing in black and white. I have noticed that when something is posted that has color on it, my students are more willing to use it as a reference when completing classwork. My students have learned to use our classroom charts and posters when working on an assignment. These current posters are in black and white and make the classroom look a bit dull.
